Business Security & Alarm Monitoring
We design commercial intrusion alarm systems for your building, professionally monitored and connected to your cameras and access control. Video monitoring is available too.
We handle everything it takes to protect your building after hours, from the first walkthrough to monitoring.
Door contacts, motion detectors and glass-break sensors watch every way into your building, and the panel calls for help the moment one trips. We install commercial alarm systems for offices, warehouses, cannabis facilities, retail, restaurants and multi-tenant buildings, from Pittsburgh and western Pennsylvania across all three states we cover.
Systems are hardwired where cable is practical, wireless where it is not, and often a mix of both. Replacing an old panel? Ajax retrofit kits connect the wired sensors you already have, so you do not pay to replace equipment that still works.

Your alarm is professionally monitored. When it trips, the signal goes to a monitoring center that handles dispatch, and you and your managers are alerted on your phones at the same time. Video monitoring is available for your cameras as well.
For AI cameras and remote video monitoring, see AI Security Systems. A service agreement adds twice-yearly system tests, and we keep your monitoring account and dispatch list current with the monitoring center. See Service Agreements.
When an alarm zone trips, the cameras covering that area record and tag the video, so you can see what set it off before deciding what to do. Doors lock on the same schedule the alarm arms. That is the value of integrating access control, CCTV and alarms: one system instead of three.
Documenting what is protected and who may reach it is its own exercise. We cover what a system security plan covers separately, because the written plan is what keeps a multi-system install coherent after handoff.
Cameras, recording and remote viewing.
Card, fob, mobile and biometric entry, plus keypad door locks.

We match the system to the building.
Reliability and upkeep. A hardwired system has no sensor batteries to replace and no radio signal to lose through thick walls, which makes it the default in new construction and open ceilings. Wireless makes sense where cable would mean opening finished walls. Current Ajax wireless sensors are encrypted and supervised, and many businesses mix both.
A monitored system sends every alarm to a professional monitoring center, which handles dispatch even if you miss the alert. An unmonitored system only sounds a siren and notifies your phone, so it depends on you or someone nearby to respond. For a business, monitoring puts a professional on the other end.
It depends on the building rather than a price list. The number of doors, windows and zones, the sensor types and whether it's hardwired or wireless all affect the cost. Reusable wiring, monitoring and integration with cameras and access control matter too. We do not publish prices, but the site assessment is free and you receive a quote.
Yes. Cameras link to alarm zones, so when a sensor trips, video from that area is recorded, tagged and available on your phone right away. Because we install cameras, access control and alarms, the pieces are designed to work together from the start. Read more.
A properly configured system does. Commercial panels, including the Ajax systems we install, send alarms over cellular when the internet drops and run on a backup battery during a power outage. Cameras keep recording on site without internet, but they need their own battery backup to record through a power outage.
