Bud Nye

Bud Nye owns and runs Nye Technical Services. He has spent more than two decades in low-voltage work: structured cabling, security cameras and access control.

He started at 14, working with his father, Vic Nye, who founded Nye Electric and taught him the trade. In 2017 Bud took over the business. Since then he has built NTS into a commercial integrator with offices in Pittsburgh and Lancaster, our own crews across Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, New York and Maryland, and a partner network for companies with locations across the country.

Bud leads our camera, access control, cabling and nationwide work, and holds every job to one standard: labeled, tested and documented at handoff, so the owner knows exactly what they have.
